Dr. Clayton R. Hall Jr. is a theologian, author, Bible teacher, and ministry leader dedicated to defending and proclaiming Apostolic biblical truth through rigorous scriptural study, theological research, and practical discipleship. His ministry combines pastoral conviction with academic depth, equipping believers to think biblically, live spiritually, and contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints in an increasingly compromised culture.
Dr. Hall serves as the Founder and President of Midnight Cry Ministries, headquartered in Petal, Mississippi, and is also the Founder and President of New Harvest Bible College, a tuition-free online Bible college established in January 2026 to provide accessible biblical and ministerial training for individuals called into ministry.
He is the author of multiple theological and discipleship-oriented works including The Emasculate Deception, The Armor Still Fits, and Your Phone Is Either a Tool or a Trap. His writing focuses extensively on Apostolic doctrine, Pentecostal theology, biblical studies, apologetics, church history, discipleship, pastoral ministry, and Christian living.
Dr. Hall earned a PhD in Theology from Victorious Christian Bible College in 2026, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He also holds a Doctorate of Theology in Christian Counseling earned in 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministry earned in 2026, also graduating Summa Cum Laude.
In addition, he earned a Master of Theology from Great Commission Bible College in 2015 and a Bachelor of Theology from Great Commission Bible College in 2013.
His undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Northwest University earned in 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature with a minor in History from Northwest University earned in 1989.
Dr. Hall has served in ministry leadership for decades under numerous respected ministers. His ministry experience includes serving as Associate Pastor under Rev. Rickey D. Martin from 1987 to 1989, under Rev. Lynn White from 1990 to 1997, under Rev. Harold W. Buckingham from 1997 to 2001, and under Rev. Marshall K. Cody from 2001 to 2005. He later served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Foursquare Church in Petal, Mississippi from 2005 to 2008, Interim Pastor at The Biker Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi from 2009 to 2013, and as an evangelistic preacher at First Pentecostal Church in Richton, Mississippi.
Before entering pastoral ministry, Dr. Hall spent years involved in street ministry in Seattle, Washington through Northwest University. During that time, he also traveled as a speaker and gospel singer with the university gospel group REMA, helping promote evangelism and ministry training.
Dr. Hall preached his first sermon at the age of nineteen in December 1985 at the invitation of his home pastor at St. John's Assembly of God, where he had previously been saved at the age of twelve in 1978.
Due to Parkinson’s disease, Dr. Hall stepped away from active ministry from October 2020 through May 2025. Following his return to ministry, he resumed teaching through online Bible studies and expanded his work into theological education, publishing, digital discipleship, and ministerial training.
Today, Dr. Hall continues writing, teaching, mentoring ministers, producing theological content online, and equipping believers worldwide through Apostolic teaching, apologetics, and biblical discipleship.
