I've Got a Testimony!

Joshua 4:1-9, 20-24
“20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
23 For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:
24 That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the Lord your God forever.
In passage of scripture, it says that Joshua chose twelve men, one from each of the twelve tribes of Israel and commanded them to take every man a stone.  These stones were to become a memorial to the miraculous power of God that divided the Jordan and delivered the children of Israel. These stones were to be a reminder for future generations of the power of God to deliver His children, when it appears to everyone, that all hope is lost.  The stones were their testimony.
Don’t ever let the devil deceive you into believing that your testimony isn’t important. According to the Word of God you are made an overcomer by the blood of Jesus, and by the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Romans 8:37
“Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
I am more than a conqueror: More because I didn’t just get delivered, I didn’t just get healed, I didn’t just make it through the Jordan waters, I didn’t just make it through the fire and through the flood, but God gave me a testimony.  It’s the blood of the lamb coupled with my testimony that makes me more than a conqueror, it has made me an overcomer!
It is our testimony that makes us valuable to the Kingdom of God.  Our testimony is what makes us dangerous, and it is because of our testimony we are a threat to hell.  You see it’s not just what you came through, or what you made it through that makes you a threat to hell, it is the fact that Jesus brought you through it all.
Friends listen to me and understand that what I am about to say is spoken for your benefit, and for the benefit of all those around you that don’t know Jesus: Your personal victory, the fact that you’ve been washed in the blood of Jesus, benefits no one except yourself until you open your mouth and declare the faithfulness and the mercy of the God that delivered you, restored you, and set you free.  But when you open your mouth and begin to declare to others what God has done for you, your testimony becomes a weapon, it becomes a sword in your hand, it becomes an instrument of power to set the captive free, and it becomes a lifeline to someone who is sinking.
So many of Gods people have been shamed into hiding their testimony, some are afraid to give their testimony because the devil makes them believe that if they talk about it, it might open the door for it to come back, or they might fall back into the pit they were delivered from.  This is nothing but the spirit of fear manipulating and intimidating you because the devil knows the power of your testimony. Listen to me, the devil is a liar!
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”

The devil wants you to keep your mouth shut because he knows your testimony has the power to bring life, to bring hope, to bring joy and peace, and to bring restoration and deliverance.
It is my story now, it was my heartbreak, and it was my confusion and fear, and my loss. It was my fall, it was real, it was hot, and it hurt.  There were times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it, times I felt like I was going to lose my mind, and times I felt like I was going to die.  But I am here today, and I made it.  My mistakes didn’t kill me, I was bitten but I didn’t die, the alcohol and drugs didn’t kill me, the sickness didn’t kill me, the motorcycle wreck didn’t kill me, my marriage survived, and I found my way back to God.
My ministry was destroyed, my character was destroyed, but it didn’t kill me. I walked through the valley of the shadow of death, but I’m still alive.  I walked through the fiery furnace, but I didn’t burn up.  I waded through deep waters, but I didn’t drown.  I heard Satan whisper time and time again, “I’m going to kill you,” but I’m still here! The blood of Jesus has set me free! I have repented of my sin, I have been washed in the waters of baptism in the name of Jesus, and I have been filled with His Holy Ghost. And listen closely, I intend to remain a threat to hell by shouting to the roof tops – Jesus Saves! I’ve got a testimony!
I’m still here, healed, delivered, set free, and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ once again!  I’ve got a testimony and I refuse to be silent and let others perish when God has placed such a precious gift in my hands. I’ve got a testimony!
For years I fought hell every day and there were times when I felt like giving up, there were times when I felt like I wouldn’t make it, there were people who said I wouldn’t make it, and many had written me off. But a praying woman kept on praying, and one day I walked in the back doors of a Pentecostal church and I came face to face with the power of God. That day, Jesus raised me up, He healed me, and He delivered me the gates of hell! I’ve Got a testimony!
I should be dead, but God has healed me. I was trapped in addiction, but God has delivered me. I spit in God’s face, I walked away from my calling, I committed unbelievable sins, but God has accepted me back with open arms, he pulled me from the pit of hell, embraced me, and God has anointed me once again to preach the gospel of Jesus! I’ve got a testimony!
The three Hebrew children benefitted from a great miracle when God delivered them from the fiery furnace. But the most valuable thing that they received that day was not the miracle, it was their testimony.  Because the miracle was theirs alone and only benefited them, it was just for that day and for that problem, but their testimony is still bringing hope to the hopeless, it’s still bringing strength to the weak, healing to the sick, and deliverance to the captive.  We overcome today by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of our testimony.
I believe now that somebody is going to be delivered because of my testimony, to be healed because of my testimony, and somebody is going to receive boldness and strength to try again because of my testimony.  Somebody who was going to quit the ministry is going to stay, somebody who was on the verge of a nervous breakdown is going to find peace, and somebody who was ready to quit on life is going to keep on living because of my testimony.
No wonder the devil is trying so hard to kill us, no wonder we’ve been going through the fiery furnace. He wants to shut us up; he wants to kill our testimony.
God is going to make the devils plan backfire in his face. If you will hold on God will deliver you and he will put the enemy's sword in your hand and you will cut off your enemy's head with it, and God will give you a testimony.
You need to know, there is no miracle without a problem, no victory without a battle, no crown without a cross, no resurrection without a death, and no testimony without a test.
God gave me this word for someone who is going through the fire right now.  You’re in the fight of your life, for your life. You’re walking through the valley of the shadow of death.  You’re being attacked physically, spiritually, and financially.  Your family is under attack, your marriage is being attacked, your ministry is being attacked, it seems like all hell has been unleashed against you.  But the Lord told me to tell you, “You’re going to make it!  You’re not going under, you’re going over!  You’re not going to burn up in the fire, but you’re coming out with victory and you’re coming out with a testimony that will shake hell, and will break down walls and set captives free.”
When the children of Israel crossed the Jordan River, they set up two pillars.  One was in the middle of Jordan and one was on the other side of Jordan.  The first one in the middle of Jordan was a midway praise, “I’m going through it praise.”
I’m going through sickness, but I’m going to praise him anyway.  My marriage is on the verge of a divorce, but I’m going to praise him anyway.  I’m going through financial problems, they’re threatening to foreclose on my house, but I’m going to praise him anyway.  I’m going through it with my children, they’re on drugs, they’re rebellious and hateful, but I’m going to praise him anyway.  You may be in the darkest times of your life, but give God praise. You’re going to make it!
Paul and Silas were beaten, and humiliated publicly, and they were bound and cast into the inner prison.  They could have murmured and complained, they could have been angry and bitter, or they could have slipped over into self-pity, but they didn’t.  The Word of God says that at midnight, Paul and Silas began to pray and sing praises unto God, and God shook that prison off its foundation, shook the doors off their hinges, and broke the shackles off every prisoner.
I just want to tell somebody, God works the night shift, in fact He does his best work in the dark.  You may not see it, but He’s working, you may not feel it, but He’s working.  He doth work, He’s working on the left hand and He’s working on the right hand and when He gets through with what He’s doing, He’s going to flip the light on and you’re going to see what’s He’s been working on in the dark.
When the children of Israel got to the other side of the Jordan: Joshua said, now take those stones that you carried out of the Jordan River and build a pillar here. This is your Thank God, I made it Praise.  This is your, thank God, I made it testimony.
Psalm 119:92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
Psalm 40:2, 3 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
David said: I was stuck in a horrible pit, I was sinking into the miry clay, all joy and all peace was fading from view, it looked like I was going to die, it looked like I would never be happy again, It looked like the devil had won, but God reached down into that horrible pit and he pulled me out of that miry clay, and he set my feet upon the rock, and he gave me back my joy, and he gave me back my peace and he gave me back my song,
What David was saying is that God has given me a testimony and when people hear my testimony they will honor God and put their trust in him for their own deliverance, and their own miracle.
Do you have a testimony? Do you have a midnight praise? Do you have a thank God, I made it praise? Does anybody know how to give God Praise?
Then open your mouth and give God praise, and tell the devil he’s a liar, and tell the devil he’s a loser.  Tell the devil your God is greater than divorce, your God is greater than cancer and heart trouble, Your God is greater than sugar diabetes and high blood pressure. Your God is greater than arthritis, and deafness and cataracts.  SCREAM IT IN THE DEVIL’S FACE!
My God is greater than drug addiction, He’s greater than homosexuality, He’s greater than perversion.
Now testify…I was sick, but God healed me. I was lost but Jesus found me. I was bound by drugs and alcohol, but God delivered me. I was oppressed by a spirit of fear, but God set me free. I was about to lose my marriage, but God brought restoration. I was about to lose my mind, but God stepped in and spoke peace!

There’s life and power in your testimony!

Enough is Enough

Deuteronomy 2:1-3

Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed Mount Seir many days. And the Lord spake unto me, saying, Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

Luke 21:26-28

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Have you ever felt like you were going in circles? Have you ever said to yourself, "Enough is enough?" As I sat down to write this article today, the Lord has put a word in my heart: "Change."

You can't stop change. Change is inevitable. There are three ways to react to change: you can adjust to it and let it change you, resist it and let it make you bitter, or take charge of it and prosper.

The word that the Lord gave me today is, 'Enough is Enough!' You've been in this place long enough. You've been in this life-cycle, this situation, or this predicament long enough. You have compassed this mountain long enough; it's your season for change!

It may be your financial situation, a relationship, an issue with your health, or your spiritual life. It may be your walk with God, your experience with God, your ministry, your gift, your calling, or your Anointing - God says: 'It's Time for a Change!'

Are you ready for a change? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you fed up with your present situation? Are you prepared to break that cycle of debt? Are you ready to break that cycle of sickness and depression? Am I talking to anybody tired of going around the same old mountain of problems every day? The Lord told me to tell you, 'You've circled this mountain long enough.'

I don't know who I'm talking to, but somebody needs a turnaround, and you need it today; you need it right now. Somebody's facing a situation that seems impossible. I want to tell you today that we serve "the God of turnarounds." The Bible is a book of turnarounds. From Genesis to Revelation, we see God turning things around.

Your season is changing: you've been in a winter season, and it looked like everything was dying in you and around you, but it's a new season: a season of new beginnings; I prophesy New beginnings. Enough is Enough, It's Time for a Change!

Isaiah 43:18-19

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old, behold I will do a new thing (now it shall spring forth).

This Scripture tells us that God is doing something fresh and new, but the condition and requirement for receiving the new is to let go of the old. One of the greatest hindrances to your breakthrough is your memory. As humans, we tend to drag our past into our future. Friends, let me say this emphatically today! Listen to me; this is a key to victory; the only way you'll ever get to your promise is to let go of your past!

Some of you have missed your blessing because the chains of past disappointments, hurts, or wounds still bind you. It doesn't matter what they did to you, what they said or didn't say about you. It doesn't matter if they cheated on you, if they lied to you, if they stabbed you in the back, you need to let it go. It's Time for Change!

Some of you are caught up in tradition, how it used to be, that you can't even enjoy it when God moves differently. God is more significant than his last move. Let it go!

I'm reminded of the man in the Bible at the Pool of Bethesda, the place of blessing. He had undoubtedly seen many people get their blessings; he had seen many people get their deliverance, breakthroughs, healing, and miracles. No doubt the devil taunted, tormented him, and told him: 'You're never going to get healed.'

The devil is taunting some of you, too: 'You're never going to get out of debt, never going to get a good job, never going to start that business. You're never going to see your family saved, you're never going to step out in anointing, you're never going to have a successful ministry.' Today, friends, I want to tell you that the devil is a liar!

But one day, Jesus stood in front of him and asked him one question, "Wilt thou be made whole?" At that moment, there wasn't enough disease to keep him sick. There wasn't enough poverty to keep him broke. There weren't enough devils in hell to keep him bound. The only one who could keep him down was himself.

And I want to tell somebody today: You are the only one who can keep you from your blessing. You are the only one who can keep God's promise from coming to pass in your life. Will you let your season pass you by, or will you take charge and change your destiny through the power of the Holy Ghost?

Enough is Enough! It's Time for a Change!

Are You M.A.D. Enough to Be Anointed

I Samuel 11:1-11
Then Nahash the Ammonite came up and encamped against Jabesh Gilead; and all the men of Jabesh said to Nahash, “Make a covenant with us, and we will serve you.”
2 And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, “On this condition I will make a covenant with you, that I may put out all your right eyes, and bring reproach on all Israel.”
3 Then the elders of Jabesh said to him, “Hold off for seven days, that we may send messengers to all the territory of Israel. And then, if there is no one to save us, we will come out to you.”
4 So the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul and told the news in the hearing of the people. And all the people lifted up their voices and wept.  5 Now there was Saul, coming behind the herd from the field; and Saul said, “What troubles the people, that they weep?” And they told him the words of the men of Jabesh.  6 Then the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard this news, and his anger was greatly aroused.  7 So he took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, “Whoever does not go out with Saul and Samuel to battle, so it shall be done to his oxen.”
And the fear of the Lord fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.  8 When he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.  9 And they said to the messengers who came, “Thus you shall say to the men of Jabesh Gilead: ‘Tomorrow, by the time the sun is hot, you shall have help.’” Then the messengers came and reported it to the men of Jabesh, and they were glad.  10 Therefore the men of Jabesh said, “Tomorrow we will come out to you, and you may do with us whatever seems good to you.”
11 So it was, on the next day, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the camp in the morning watch, and killed Ammonites until the heat of the day. And it happened that those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together
In this passage of scripture one could liken Saul to a radical believer, or a “Radical Christian.”  He was “radical” because his actions were extremist, they were far beyond what was considered “normal,” they were what some might call “over the top,” and others probably would have said his actions were “crazy."
If there has ever been a time in the history of our nation that we needed some “Radical Christians,” it’s now!  We need some preachers who are not afraid to be labeled “extremists” because they are anointed and continue to preach standards and refuse to go along with the mainstream trends of the church!  We need some worship leaders who are “over the top” and are tired of entertainment that does not promote God’s presence!  We need believers that are called “crazy” because of their zeal to live a holy life and walk daily in the power of the Holy Ghost.  We need believers that are so radical that the devil knows their name!
There are all kind of radicals in the world: People do all kinds of radical things, extreme things, and even crazy things.  There are radical sports fans, politicians, religious extremists like ISIS and the Westboro Baptist church, racists, and extreme environmentalists.  Everywhere you look there are all kinds of radicals.  We have become accustomed to seeing people in the secular world doing all kinds of crazy, extreme, over the top things, but we are not used to seeing “radical Christians.”
Saul was a man who became radical, he was the king of Israel, and he was anointed by God.  Pay special attention to that word "anointed."  The anointing sets you apart from everyone else.  The anointing places the power of God on your life.  The anointing changes you, it encourages boldness, it produces fearlessness, it makes us more assertive, and the anointing confronts error.
In our text all the people were crying, they were sad because of the threats from their enemy, but what made the others sad, made Saul angry.  He was angry at the enemy, angry at the willingness of the people to compromise with the enemy just to avoid a fight.  But Saul was not just an angry man, he was an anointed man.  There is something that the enemy will always take notice of:  A radical, angry, and anointed child of the living God!

In this age of compromise, this day of backing up and backing down, this era of diluting the gospel and going along to get along with everybody and everything, so many in the church have lost the fire of God and have settled for a, “form of godliness that denies the power thereof.”
But this strange to me because I can tell you what I have seen in the young men of my church, God is raising up an army of “Radical Christians.” The Lord is anointing an army of ministers who are going to be more than just echoes of political correctness, more than just pew warmers, and more than just singers in the choir.  This army is the radical, extreme, crazy, and over the top Jesus freaks who are going to shake up the church world!
In fact he is raising up some people, who like Saul, are angry at the enemy.  They are M.A.D. – Motivated Against the Devil.  They are angry at the devil, angry at the spirit of compromise in the church, angry at the spirit that rejects the cross and the blood of Jesus, and angry at the “Ecclesiastical Pimps” that stand in pulpits Sunday after Sunday and label everyone saved regardless of how they live just to get a paycheck!
There has been a spirit of passivity in too many churches for too long now, they have become very comfortable and casual in our attitude toward sin.  There has been a seeker friendly mentality and attitude to make everybody comfortable and happy.  An attitude that we must get rid of anything that would offend the seeker.
These false prophets have decided that the cross, the altar, the blood, speaking in tongues, emotional responses to the Spirit, messages that mention hell or condemn sin, and sinful lifestyles, must be removed. They proclaim, "we must make the sinner comfortable." That's a lie straight out of hell, and it's one of the reasons that Isaiah prophesied that hell was enlarging itself daily. Pastors that won't preach repentance and even refuse to call abortion and homosexuality sin, are leading thousands to the gates of damnation!
But I feel a stirring in my spirit and I have an assignment from the Holy Ghost to tell the church: Something is about to change!  There's someone sitting in your church, somebody that you never really noticed, and that you never suspected, and an anointing that is getting ready to fall on them. God is getting ready to put His mantle on them.  They are going to stand up under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and become like an Elijah to this generation.  They are not going to be seduced by this adulterous spirit of idolatry and witchcraft that has hypnotized the church, and they're going to call Gods people to repentance.  They are not going to soft soap sin, or sugar coat the word of God.  They are going to declare that there is a difference between the clean and the unclean, the vile and the pure, the right and the wrong, righteousness and sin.  They are not going to be concerned about fitting in, about being popular with men, they are going to be clothed with the zeal of God, and their only concern is going to be to pleasing Him.
I have to throw this in here because the Holy Ghost just put in on my heart.  I heard someone proclaim recently regarding homosexuals, lesbians, fornicators, Muslims, etc., that we are all on a “journey” and that they are just at different places in their “journey” and we have to give everybody time to become who they are supposed to be.  The message he was conveying is that we are all on the same “journey” we are just at different places along that “journey.”
Let me tell you what the Word of God says about the “journey”: Along this “journey” called life there are only two roads, the Broad way, “which seemeth right unto man,” which leads to destruction, and the narrow way that leads to eternal life and “few there be that find it.”  What I am about to say is not real popular these days, but I must say it regardless:  If you have not confessed Jesus Christ as Lord, if you have not been washed in the blood of the Lamb, if you have not repented and been “baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin (Acts 2:38),” then you are not saved.  You are lost, you are on the wrong road and you need to make a U-turn.  If you are a sinner and you have not been redeemed by the blood of Jesus then you are on the wrong road, and it doesn't matter how far you journey down that wrong road, it will never become the right road. The only way to get right with God is a course correction.
If you do not receive Jesus as your personal savior and forsake your sins, you will be eternally lost. I know that's not popular but it's the truth, and I say it because I love you.  God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
There is an anointing that is being stirred up right now in some people that God has called.  I want to warn you though, when it happens and you start standing up and declaring the non-filtered Word of God, some sleepy, sloppy, lazy, passive, and indifferent pew potatoes aren't going to recognize the anointing, they are just going to accuse us of being angry.
The only way the church will ever come together, be united for the purpose that the Lord has called us to, “to destroy the works of the devil,” is if someone gets sick and tired, if someone gets fed up with accepting compromise to avoid a fight, and if someone gets angry!
I want to end this “screed,” by saying just one more thing, it’s about time some of you got M.A.D.!

The God of the Breakthrough

God gave me this message today for some people who are facing opposition. All those who seek to follow God will face opposition. “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: (I Peter 4:12).”

As we enter the spiritual realm God has promised us we must be prepared for confrontation: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).”

Suggested Reading - Joshua 5:1-6:2

My friends I want to say something very plainly, it is important for all believers to understand, there is no spiritual progress without resistance from the enemy. Jericho was a fortress city, it was the symbol of the enemy’s strength and power, it was made up of a culture which was wholly given up to idol worship, and it stood directly opposed to Israel’s inheritance. This city had great walls that spoke of it’s great strength, and a reputation for being indestructible.

The Children of Israel had just begun to taste the goodness of their inheritance they were finally eating the fruit of their promised land. “And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna anymore; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year (Joshua 5:12).”

But Jericho stood in the way of them receiving their full inheritance. “Now Jericho was straightly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in (Joshua 6:2).”

Today in churches all over the world, many have become satisfied right there. I’m okay, you’re okay - you don’t bother me, and I won’t bother you. But God is never satisfied with containment – to suppress the enemy is never victory! To suppress lust, anger, resentment, criticism, gossip, drunkenness, or homosexuality is not victory! The Apostle James said we sin when we are dragged away and enticed by our own evil desires, we must let the blood of Jesus wash us clean – our evil desires must be replaced with a desire to know God! To suppress means to hold it inside, certainly if you are holding it inside this is not victory, victory is when the cross has destroyed that thing at the root!

I want to talk about what I call the anatomy of a breakthrough. First, sanctify yourself, take the word and cut yourself loose from anything of the flesh: “At that time the Lord said unto Joshua, make thee sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time.”

We need a cut away from our life anything that keeps us from moving forward in the spirit and receiving the inheritance that God has promised to Hs children. We need a circumcision of the heart (see Romans 2:25-29).

Second, lift up your eyes and look beyond your circumstances, Joshua lifted up his eyes and looked beyond the walls and seen the provision of God: “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand:”

Third, start worshipping Jesus and align yourself with God: The Angel of the Lord here was Jesus, an appearance of Jesus in a form before he became flesh, because Jesus was not born in Bethlehem, He has always existed. Joshua fell on his face and worshipped. This is how we know it was the Lord, not just an angel, because angel worship is forbidden.

Worship is the key note of Destiny. Worship creates the atmosphere for hearing God’s voice, Worship opens the eyes and the ears of the heart. Worship is the atmosphere for the conception of the miraculous.

Fourth, ‘loose thy shoe from off thy foot.’ It was to the shoulders of barefooted priests that God entrusted the ark of his presence. To possess our spiritual inheritance, we must become barefooted, no personal agenda, no selfish ambitions, given up to the plans purpose and will of God walking softly, and tenderly. It symbolizes an exchanged life, my plans for His plans, my will for His will, my desires for His desires.

Now in 6:2 God basically tells Joshua, Now the city is yours. I don’t know what walls of difficulties you may be facing today, but I can tell you this: God is looking for barefoot worshipers. Instead of griping and grumbling and complaining about the problems in your life, just take your shoes off and start worshiping him!

When one bad report after another had reached jobs ears, and from a natural perspective he had lost everything, Job kept himself connected to his destiny through worship.

Fifth, obey God and keep your mouth shut. God gave directions to Joshua, They were not suggestions, They were his commandments, their victory was totally reliant upon their obedience. The People were forbidden to speak. We need to train ourselves to speak only that which edifies, and glorifies God and ministers grace. (see Colossians 4:6; Matthew 12:36; Psalm 6:2)

Many of Gods people are living far beneath their privileges because they haven’t learned how to control their tongue and make it work for them. God commands Joshua to have the people march around the city, One time every day for six days, then on the seventh day seven times around. Seven is God’s number and it stands for completion, maturity, totality, and fruition achieved through total obedience.

And finally, shout! After they had completed God’s plan, after they had obeyed, Joshua commanded them to shout! “Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.”

There comes a time, When you know you have lifted your eyes above your problem, and you have taken off your shoes and stood barefooted and worshipped God and you have aligned yourself with God and obeyed His voice, and you have learned how to speak only that which builds up and edifies, all that’s left is to shout.

You’re not shouting because everything looks right or sounds right or feels right, but because God has said the victory is yours! Shout your praise, because praise is faith expressing itself audibly. Faith has a voice, Faith calls those things which be not as though they were, and those things that be as though they were not. Faith hears God say it’s done, sees God make it done and shouts because faith believes it’s done.

I’m writing this today because some of you need a breakthrough! What is a Breakthrough? It is a victory over a wall, a victory over anything that presents a united front of opposition against you and the will of God for your life. Every one of us needs a breakthrough at some point in their lives. Every one of us will come to a place in our lives where we face something that presents itself before us as a united unbroken, wall of opposition. The good news is that Our God is the God of the breakthrough!

Don’t accept the opposition’s lies, don’t accept the evil reports, don’t be satisfied eating the old corn outside the gates - get rid of any fleshly thing that is keeping you from your inheritance, look beyond your circumstances for your help, take off your shoes and stand naked before God and worship Him, align yourself with His will through obedience, and shout, shout, shout until the walls come down!
